After a brief career in journalism, I entered the pre-employment screening world almost 20 years ago and haven’t looked back.
As a senior level executive who helped grow from a one room CRA into one of the industry's most respected firms, I created compliant screening programs for some of the world's largest companies. I then internalized those client needs to create operations, quality and service teams which served the collective interests of the client, the applicant, and the CRA.
A rigorous commitment to data and business analytics led to one of the industry's lowest error rates, fastest turnaround times and annual increases in revenue/employee.
How? By constantly asking “What if?” Asking questions, probing for answers, identifying root causes and expected outcomes. Do it before implementing solutions that negatively impact clients and applicants. Knowing what not to do can be the difference between losing a candidate, a client and a lawsuit.
